Pilgrimage towards Peace

Sarah Goldstein Roney

Mom of 8, photography enthusiast, adoption advocate, writer

A mama to eight, of whom 6 were adopted, Sarah Goldstein Roney knows that there are incredible delights and intense challenges in parenting children with special needs and traumatic pasts. As she processes the highs and lows from a Biblical perspective, she wants you to see the glimmers of light in this life-long journey with your children. Convinced that the Light of Christ can redeem even the most bitter circumstances, she believes that God’s Word can infuse our souls with hope, even when it seems hidden.

Originally from Long Island, New York, she now lives in the “ Great Lakes Region” where her happiness seems to be directly related to her proximity to water, her beautiful family, a giant cup of coffee, a camera, and a stack of books.

Wherever you are in the adoptive, foster or special needs journey, she wants you to know that the holiest thing to do sometimes…. is get back up again.
